Bloomington engagement photo sessions!
I’ve made the decision to include engagment sessions bundled into my wedding packages going forward. There are just too many good reasons to do this. The value of meeting with my couple and getting comfortable with them, directing them through their sessions, and receiving their feedback is invaluable!
I love the collaboration that comes with these shoots as well. I’ll often create a Pinterest board with sample of poses and images that I like, and this leads to the couple (typically the bride lol) to include photos that they like. It gives me a glimpse into the tone they want for their session, their expectations, and the level of comfort they have in regards to posing with one another. It’s then my job to copy what I can, and add originality that comes from the session itself!
